Statement on November

In 2026, Texas seniors are encouraged to oppose the Trump Administration and all candidates who support it. We stand for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, pensions, and voting rights. When we look through their twisted word games, we see that the Trumpsters are on the other side of every retiree issue.

In addition to the immediate retiree concerns, we note that the Trumpsters are also starting wars, destroying the environment, and pushing artificial intelligence – all with no concern for the people young or old.

The Texas Alliance for Retired Americans is committed to winning the November 3 elections and leading our seniors in any fights afterward. We have endorsed a number of senior-friendly candidates, including James Talarico, Gina Hinojosa, Vikkie Goodwin, Nathan Johnson and Clayton Tucker.

United, we will do whatever is possible to win for Texas seniors.
