Texas Retirees Screen and Endorse Candidates

On July 22, the Dallas Chapter of Texas Alliance for Retired Americans was the first of seven  to announce endorsements. All federal endorsements are done by our national organization, but we already knew about congressional candidates Colin Allred, Chelsey Hockett, and Dr Frederick D Haynes III.

Hockett attended our luncheon along with Holly Taylor for Court of Criminal Appeals and Representative Rhetta Bowers.

All the candidates wise enough to seek our endorsement are aware that seniors vote at higher rates than any other age group. We are the only seniors organization in Texas that endorses and boosts candidates!

Texas retirees do not pursue candidates. If they aren’t smart enough to seek us out, we generally leave them on their own. As of July 23, these are the candidates we have screened and endorsed:
