TARA/TEXAS AFT MEMBERS SPEAK AND SIGN IN FOR PENSION INCREASE
Thanks to all the TARA/Texas AFT Retiree Plus members who showed up in Austin and signed in for HB 9 which gives all education retirees the best chance yet for a one time 13th check and an eventual COLA. Way to go Rita Runnels for your awesome testimony before the House Pensions and Investments Committee. She’s shown below left with Texas AFT’s Dwight Harris. DALLAS TARA MEMBERS SHARE CONCERNS WITH REPRESENTATIVE DAVIS
Dallas TARA members recently participated in a Town Hall Meeting with their State Representative Yvonne Davis, who is a strong supporter of retiree issues.
