Texas Retirees Set Statewide Meeting
The Texas Alliance for Retired Americans statewide meeting is set for 4-6PM on Friday, June 23 in room 335A of the Hilton Americas Houston Hotel, 1600 Lamar Street in Houston 77010.
We Have a Lot to Talk About
Our retirees have been in political offices and all over the streets. We’ve been on the phones and in meetings with other individuals and groups. We’ve been in the news and all over the internet. Everywhere, we fight to preserve and extent the right to retire, and we make a difference!
Everyone who wants to help is invited to our state meeting, and to any of the six monthly chapter meetings in Beaumont, Houston, Corpus Christi, Austin, Fort Worth, or Dallas.
While in Houston, we’ll sit in on the Texas AFL-CIO convention and join with other activists interested in the labor movement. A “Constituency Group” meeting is set for 4:30PM on June 24 at the same hotel. Hotel reservations are available at (713) 739-8000.
