Retirees Make the Difference in Elections

Retirees turn out better than any age group. The difference is especially felt in low-turnout races in off years and in special elections such as the upcoming Texas runoffs.

Our Texas Executive Committee has endorsed Taylor Rehmet in Senate District 9. It covers the northern half of Tarrant County and includes downtown Fort Worth.

Rehmet rocked the anti-senior’s world by getting 48% of the vote on November 4th in a district that had been won by Trump in 2024 by 18%! His victory will signal to all Texans that gerrymandered districts can still be won by hard work and devoted voters.

Many Texas retirees may get their ballots very soon after the Governor sets the date for the special election.  Hopefully, they will also have guidance from national Alliance for Retired Americans on the congressional race in Houston soon.

Seniors are ready to fight after seeing the Trump Administration do everything they can against our food rights during this election period.
