Why Retirees Support Public Workers in Their Hour of Need

The Musk/Trump aspiring dictatorship is attacking all working families, but their special early target is public employees. Federal employees are seeing their legal union contracts torn up, being fired, getting their budgets cut, and being thrown into an administrative quagmire that is designed to make it impossible for them to provide the services that Americans, especially senior Americans, desperately need.

Retirees have their backs!

We are with them for lots of reasons.

• We know that unions are responsible for almost all of the benefits we have enjoyed
• Many public employees are also veterans, and retirees support veterans
• If they can’t do their jobs, we can’t get their services. What good is it, for example, to win Social Security benefits if nobody can answer the phone and help you get them?

There are a number of offenses being perpetrated against Americans today, and the attacks against public employees are among the foremost. If Trump/Musk gets away with what they are doing, it’s only going to get worse
