Dallas TARA/Alliance AFT Activists (l-r) Norene Flaherty, Hobie Hukill, Yvonne Wesley Clarke, Tony Chenevert and Judy Bryant attended the Rally To Support Dallas Teachers before the DISD school board meeting. Hukill and Bryant also spoke about issues of concern regarding the TEI Pay for Performance Plan and the disrespect shown a DISD Trustee. #ByeByeTEI

TARA ENDORSES BIRABIL FOR TEXAS HD 100

The Texas Alliance for Retired For Americans is proud to endorse Lorraine Birabil for the special election in Texas House District 100, after a recommendation by the Dallas chapter to the state TARA E Board. (l-r) Field Organizer Judy Bryant, Dallas President George Nolan, Lorraine Birabil, Secretary Julie Britton, Activist Fernando Rojas and Treasurer Barbara Rojas congratulated Lorraine at the DACED Casino night. She pledged to work on all senior/retiree issues such as improved health care, pension protection, affordable housing and voter protection.
