Austin Chapter Works the Elections

We are proud to announce that the Texas Alliance for Retired Americans statewide Executive Board has voted to endorse Elaina Fowler for the House District 47 race in the Austin area Democratic Primary.

Elaina has the strongest union background of any of the 5 candidates. She serves as Executive Director of American Federation of State County and Municipal Workers (AFSCME) State Retirees Council and has advocated for several years for working families, for seniors, for women and other marginalized communities.

“For seniors living in HD 47 we urge you to early vote and vote for Elaina Fowler,” said Glenn Scott, President of the Austin Chapter of TARA.
