Let’s Reach Out!

To succeed in defending retirement rights, we have to organize as many supporters as possible. That means doing lots of outreach. Right now, volunteers are calling people that we think might help us with our May 29 fundraiser. Organizer Judy Bryant is traveling to East Texas. We can get a speaker in every major Texas city!

So far, I haven’t been able to find anybody in our movement who has experimented with using meetup.com, so I plunked down some $$$ and started a group:

Please join us if you can. Later on, we can probably get national ARA’s free conference calls that have no long-distance charges. We could use telephone conferences a lot more than we have.
Joining meetup.com is free. It only costs to start a new group. They have hundreds of groups, but none that I could find with goals like ours. Outreach work isn’t hard, and it has to be done!
