Help Build Texas Retiree Network!
TARA members join the fight against privatization!
Texas Alliance for Retired Members and interested people from across Texas will meet at 9 AM Friday, June 27, in room C146 of the Dallas Convention Center. The workshop is titled “Labor Retirees” and takes place during the Texas Democratic Convention. TARA activists will take the opportunity to talk with as many people as possible who are interested in saving and extending the right to retire in America. TARA already has chapters and affiliates in most Texas cities, but many more are needed. Individuals, too, can make a difference if they are hooked up with the progressive retiree network.

Retirees will also be interested in attending the meeting on ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council) at 10 AM on Saturday, June 28. ALEC is the secret organization behind rising drug costs and privatization of pension funds.
The Texas Alliance for Retired Americans is succeeding in the fight for retiree rights because of our commitments to activism and inclusion. We work with anybody and everybody who believes in American retiree rights. We promote voting, especially vote-by-mail for seniors. We disseminate information. We form delegations to visit our political leaders. We gather petitions. Above all, we turn ideas into action!
