Early Vote Rally February 18

Judy Bryant reminds all Texas seniors to vote early

Early voting for the primary election begins February 18. The election is March 4. Many savvy Texas seniors have already voted, because they sent in applications to vote by mail. Anyone over 65, or who is disabled, can vote by mail in Texas. See our instructions on this site for details. This year is even better than last, because the Legislature made it possible to make just one application that will be good for vote-by-mail ballots all year. Just check “annual application” on the form. Since some of this year’s elections are primaries, you also have to select a political party as the ballots are different on primary elections.

As we did last election, when the photo was made, we will demonstrate to all Texans to vote early. Bring signs and come on down to the Records Building, across the street from the Old Red Courthouse, 500 S Main, in downtown Dallas.

People who vote early don’t have to worry about long lines or about fussy election judges. Build retiree power! Bring your friends and vote early!
