‘This is your reminder of our Austin chapter meeting next Thursday 9/17 at 10 am at the Texas AFL-CIO office at 1204 San Antonio St., 3rd floor conference room.

‘We have a special program with Travis County Tax Assessor Bruce Elfant leading a Deputy Voter Registrar training, 10-11am. Our business meeting will follow, so plan on 10-12. Remember to RSVP due to limited seating of 18.

We have had 2 successful outreach activities already this month, the first at the Labor Day Fish Fry and the 2nd at the ERS retiree Fair, Sept. 2. Thank you to Yolanda for coordinating the ERS fair and special thanks to Z, Marie and Patricia who staffed the table along yours truly. We have 40 names and emails on sign in sheets that we need to follow up with. Anyone who would like to help me call or email 5 to 10 of these names, please let me know.
