Austin Retirees Meet Wednesday July 16

Executive Director Rich Fiesta is Coming to Texas!

Statewide, retirees are working to get more people to Dallas on July 30 to meet Rich Fiesta and join him in protesting the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Events start at noon at the “Community Brewery” building, 1530 Inspiration Drive, Dallas 75207. Emmett Sheppard is organizing transportation from Austin. Contact him.

The Austin chapter of the Texas Alliance for Retired Americans will plan for important actions at their July 16 meeting. You are needed on Wednesday from 10-11:30 AM at the Texas AFT Conference Room for a program to hear about ALEC.  You will receive ARA Congressional Voting Records, a brief report on other TARA actions, and will have an officer election to fill several vacant spots.
