Seniors Are Moving Up

TARA OFFICERS ACCEPT NEW CHALLENGES

Texas Alliance for Retired Americans Secretary Tony Padilla and ARA CAN Board Member Marty Alvarado were recently chosen for additional roles where they will continue to work for senior issues.

Tony was elected the National Vice President of NARVRE at their 39th in Sacramento on May 18-20. Marty was appointed to the Senior Affairs Commission of the Dallas City Council by her Councilman Scott Griggs. They are working to improve and increase services for seniors at the Dallas Senior Centers. Congratulations to both of our hardworking TARA members!
