Find the Cutest Grandkids, and Help Us Make Sure They Have the Right to Retire Someday!

I am proposing a “Cutest Grandkids” contest as our main 2014 fundraiser. Contestants would submit a single photograph of their grandkids along with a donation to the Texas Alliance for Retired Americans. First prize would be a $100 savings bond, 2nd prize a $50 bond, and 3rd prize a $25 bond. Every time we get a new contestant, we would publicize the contest on this web site, our Facebook Page, and Twitter.

There will be two ways to enter the contest and/or to vote:

1. Mail a photo and check to Treasurer Elaine Jones, 4455 SPID #48, Corpus Christi, TX 78411-5137

2. E-mail a photo to genelantz19@gmail.com and use our pay-pal account to vote.

votes would be $1 each. All votes should be accompanied by the name of the grandkids voted for.

The proposed contest should extend through Grandparents Day, September 6. We’ll have our final push on Grandparents Day.
